Patrick Courrielche: We hear a lot about the culture wars. And it seems like Republicans are always losing them.

Reporter 1: Well just this week NY Times columnist David Brooks writing that he thinks Progressives are on the verge of winning the culture war.

David Brooks: Well I think what has happened is that the Right has lost the culture wars. 

Reporter 2: There are voices within the GOP arguing it’s time for the party to accept that the culture wars have been lost.
